My husband was promoted to general manager, following four years of relentless commitment to his work, and this needs to be celebrated. And after all these years, we finally agreed to a peaceful vacation, something we both needed. Having followed him on more than a dozen international business tours, we had seen the globe but never so much as lived it together.
This time, I dedicated myself to making our trip unique, memorable, and filled with personal exploration. We have always dreamt of Europe, and Thrillophilia was the only suitable partner to approach. I had previously been a customer of Thrillophilia for several trips, including my bachelorette and honeymoon, so personally, my reviews of Thrillophilia have always been good.
I called Rakesh, who booked my previous trips with Thrillophilia; he immediately connected me with Shikha, a Europe Destination Expert. She shared the available tour packages along with some Thrillophilia reviews of previous customers. Accordingly, I told her all our preferences, the countries we wanted to visit, and, most importantly, the stays we wanted. She curated an all-inclusive trip for us and managed everything from visa assistance and travel planning to hotel booking, transportation, and emergency support contacts. All we did was just shop a little, pack our bags, and fly!
Exploring Europe Hand-in-hand
We started in Paris; our day was filled with art, history, and romance. We witnessed the core of Paris—the Eiffel Tower—and explored little Montmartre and the Latin Quarter. The Seine River Cruise from Port de Grenelle, which glided by centuries-old architecture as the city lights sparkled on the water, was one highlight.
From roller coasters like Big Thunder Mountain to seeing dreamlike parades, we embraced our inner child at Disneyland. Which experience was the most memorable for my husband? Attending a Gaspar Noé film seminar was something a movie buff like him would cherish for life.
History was readily accessible in Rome as we walked the magnificent Colosseum hallways, marvelled at the Sistine Chapel, and peered in astonishment inside St. Peter’s Basilica. Watching the sunset while sitting on the ancient and aesthetic structured stairs of the Basilica brought us pure peace.
Next was Murano, the world-famous destination for its centuries-old glassmaking tradition, offering a combination of ancient charm and beauty. It had quiet canals, colourful houses, and artisan studios. Burano, on the other hand, is a picture-perfect island renowned for its vibrant houses, lace-making heritage, and laid-back island vibes. The bold hues of each canal-side home create a painter’s dreamscape.
In addition, we explored Amsterdam’s canals in a glass-topped boat, which was a serene and reflective way to take in the beauty of the city. Our short trip to Brussels also included stops at the Grand Palace and the famous Manneken Pis statue.
From the snow-capped Mount Titlis to the thundering Rhine Falls, Switzerland amounted only to a dreamscape. My personal favourite was our visit to the Lindt Chocolate Museum, where we got to eat more varieties of chocolate than I can count!
A Taste of Europe: Where Cooking Meets Culture
Europe is such a feast, not just what its postcard impressions might suggest. Every taste, from the croissants at Rue Montorgueil in Paris to the wine tastings in Italy, is full of a unique story. We ate luscious Dutch cheeses in Amsterdam, dined among canals in Venice, and wood-fired pizzas in Rome. Every area had its taste, whether it was Frankfurt’s spiciness from German cuisine or the fragrant aroma of French gastronomy.
My Final Words
Thrillophilia helped us carry out the entire trip for these 15 amazing days, personalising it as if we had written it ourselves. Every minute detail and every transfer from one place to another was as requested and timely. I even spoke to Shikha and shared my overall experience along with my reviews of Thrillophilia about the trip.
We had 8 countries to visit in our 15-day trip, which at first sounded so hectic and tiring, but it turned out to be so smooth. That was probably because of our comfortable stays, attentive staff, convenient location, and overall positive experience. However, what stood out was our last stay in London. The reason it will be memorable for us is that we were welcomed with a cake and a decorated room, and they also gave us both free spa coupons. This was not only heartwarming but also relaxing after constantly travelling.
This trip was about getting back to each other rather than merely sightseeing. We were bringing memories as much as souvenirs as we got on our trip back. And my Thrillophilia reviews remain unchanged, they gave us not just a vacation, but lifelong memories.
