How To Reach This Archaeological Heritage Site?

By Road journey

Chandragiri is 11 km from Tirupati and will take around 30 minutes by road. Tirupati has a wide road network that connects the city with most big cities such as Chennai, Hyderabad, and Bangalore. There are private cabs and also public transport buses which can be availed to travel to Chandragiri from Tirupati.

Travelers coming from Chennai (150 km away), have enough buses and taxis but the trip would take about 3-4 hours.

By Train

The closest railway station to Chandragiri is Chandragiri railway station. A major Railway Station that will have regular trains from all major cities in southern India. You can hire a taxi or catch a local bus from here to reach Chandragiri. 

By Air:

The Chandragiri site is approximately 14 km from the Tirupati Airport, TIR- the closest airport to the site. From Tirupati Airport, you can get taxis that will take about 30 minutes in order to get to the museum. It connects the major cities of the region, such as Chennai, Hyderabad, and Bangalore.
