The opening hours of the Zoo Negara are between 9 AM to 5 PM from Monday to Sunday. At 4:30 PM, visitors can make their final entry into the zoo. Moreover, the Multi-Animal show time is from 11 AM to 3 PM from Thursday to Saturday. On weekends, the show time extends from 11 AM to 3:30 PM.

Another option is to take the RapidKL bus number 253 or 220, which stops close to the zoo, from Wangsa Maju or Lebuh Ampang.
