Established in 1928-29, Amrit Udyan was spread over a wide area of 15 acres inside the Rashtrapati Bhavan complex. It was built by Sir Edwin Lutyens and resembles the Jammu and Kashmir Amrit Udyans, Indian and Persian murals and gardens near the Taj Mahal.
